Educational Support Programs

We believe that each child is uniquely created by God and is fearfully and wonderfully made, therefore, here at MACS we seek to address the differing educational needs of our students.  MACS offers our Options Programs for students with special learning needs and diagnosed learning disabilities as well as our Academic Achievement Program (formerly known as Learning Support).

What is the Academic Achievement Program?

The Academic Achievement Program establishes a robust TK-12 pathway for those receiving additional support within the general classroom. This program is a research-based program that provides resources, strategies, and practices that enable all learners to have an equal opportunity for success spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially in the general education classroom by addressing barriers to and promoting engagement in learning and teaching.

This program is available at each of the schools in MACS.

What is the Options  Program?

Schools in Charlotte offer special learning programs to better meet the needs of diverse learners. In many instances, parents can provide their special needs child with a Catholic education from pre-kindergarten through high school.
